Re: Natural killer cells

To those of you who've been asking me questions I'm sorry to have not replied but I haven't been on the forum for a number of months due to our first successful cycle using immunology protocol giving us our little boy in May. I can't what dose I was on except to say it was a very low dose and I took...

Re: Thyroid Antibodies

Hi, I did have the drugs and they did make that all important difference. If you do try again clexane works similarly to aspirin and I was put on both (along with steroids prednisolone) and thyroxine as my tsh wasn't at the right level even tho my thyroid itself was fine. So maybe talk to your consu...

Re: Natural killer cells

Hi Lisa, Really sorry it's taken so long to reply but I don't come on as often now. TSH is your thyroid stimulating hormone and apparently it needs to be below 2.4 for optimal fertility which yours is but it's close to the boundary. I had accupuncture, prednisolone pessaries morning and night, predn...

Re: First IVF has failed

Hi Mrs Dee, They thought that the embryo had tried to implant because I got positive and negative pregnancy tests on the days around my OTD and they said a positive could only be created if something had tried. Then my consultant was fab and knew that we had paid for just two cycles in our package a...

Re: Natural killer cells

Hi Lisa, I had two transfers that didn't work one of which tried to implant but failed. I was then put on steroids- prednisolone and inhixa helparin injections and aspirin and also thyroxine because although my thyroid is fine my tsh level wasn't the best for fertility and now I'm 28 weeks pregnant....

Re: Successful pregnancy after PGS

Hi Lisa, I'm 40- 41 in may and I am now 27 weeks pregnant with my first child via IVF. Our issue wasn't with me but my husband so don't assume it's always you I got pregnant on my third transfer and fifth embryo. We didn't have pgs. The big difference in our third successful round was that they foun...

Hi,

Yes I've got on board a 5 day blastocyst and am now 26weeks pregnant. I am 40. Hold on to your hope. It took three transfers and five embryos but we got there!

Good luck!

Re: First IVF has failed

Hi ladies, I wanted to reply to give you some hope and ideas from my experience. A great ago I was where you are, having just done our first cycle and it failed. The sense of grief and despair is huge as you just expect it to work- well I did. I then had my consultant review and had a frozen cycle w...

Re: BFP and awaiting October six week scan

Hi Lucky, Do you have a child already or am I remembering wrongly. I'm starting this past week to become more confident in the movements and kicks but it being my first pregnancy they say you feel it lasted so I was 20 weeks til.i started feeling flutters and since then tumbling around and now kicks...

Re: BMI During Treatment

Hi there, I can't guarantee anything but my BMI was much like yours borderline and after the first consultation they never checked it or mentioned it again especially as they know the drugs bloat and change your weight so I really wouldn't worry. Maybe be a little bit careful while you can but don't...

Hi ladies, Glad you're both doing well Charlotte - very good news! Lucky - wow a boy how cool! Have u decided on a name yet? Out of interest did you guys have IVF, iui or icsi? Re: Care manchester spring summer babies

Hi Sophia, That's completely normal and I think any check or scan you do get a bit nervous. I think having had to cross so many hurdles to get where we are you tend to expect it not to be plain sailing. Good luck with your scan and let me know how it goes 😁😁 so exciting! We've just had our 20week sc...

Hi lucky no I didn't stay in. I went to my GPs and they Judi booked ECG and echocardiogram and had them over the next two weeks after that appointment. But my blood pressure was normal each time it was checked too. Hope you've not had any more problems since last post. Charlotte, how are you to now?...

Lucky, Please don't worry. I had flutters in my chest but not pain and my midwife sent me straight to the go that day who arranged an ECG and echocardiogram and I was a little worried but all was fine and as Google also told me our body has 50% more blood going round your body and that regularly cau...

Hi Charlotte, Yes I moved my dates according to the dating scan so consider my self 15 weeks today.
