High or low stims for low amh?

#1 Post by Sofy36 » Tue Mar 13, 2018 5:01 pm

I’m 37 almost 38 with a pretty bad amh and not many follicles.
My next protocol is 450 menopur but I keep reading that high stims is not good for older ladies and less is better. Has anyone opinions on this?

Hi Sofy. I have a very low AMH as well and it is 0.6. I had been having treatment in several different places and my doctors had different points of view. It is hard to say whether it is good or bad to have high stims. I had both and once it worked out. My last doctor suggested me new therapy that could help to conceive with my own eggs. She was very careful with prescribing dosages of meds and I started from small and ended with big ones. It was a very hard cycle but it was worth it! I conceived with my own eggs and our princess is only ours!

Hi Ava,

I saw you posted about mitochondrial replacement.
Which clinic offers that?

Xx
