Hi. My wife and I are attending some appointments with CARE next month but wanted some input.
I had a sperm analysis done on the NHS and was told the results weren’t great. They didn’t tell me much else, thats why we are looking into private treatment - not only that we’ve been trying to conceive for 3 years and had no success as my wife also has problems.
My results are as follows-
Density (per ml) 21 million
Morphology - 05
Motile sperm density - 0.34
Rapid progressive sperm - 00%
Slow progressive sperm - 32%
None progressive motility - 20%
None motile - 48%
Appearance - normal
liquification - complete
Volume - 3ml
We’ve had very mixed views on these results. I posted them on another forum where I was told it was pretty bad Male factor infertility and someone else to me it was only borderline. I’ve tried to work out these results myself but haven’t come to much conclusion as everything is very confused and muddled.
My wife has PCOS so we are wondering if CARE will recommend IUI or IVF straight away, dependent on my sperm results and what they mean.
Any input would be wonderful!

I don’t know what our results were but we had to have help due to male factor infertility. Because of this, we went down the ICSI route which I would assume as long as enough sperm per egg can be taken out then that should be fine
