2nd round ivf, I'm want some positive vibes

Hi, I'm on my 2nd round of ivf. My first round got cancelled before egg collection because I only had 2 eggs and they wasn't the right size. This round I've just had my first scan and I've got 6 eggs, one is 14, 2 x 8, 1 x 9 and a couple of tiddlers. I'm wondering if anybody has been in the same position as me and it's all come good in the end? I'm trying not to get my hope's up

Hi,
Firstly good luck with this cycle, really hoping it's successful for you. Secondly, they like follicles to be at least 18mm at EC if I remember correctly. At your first scan this sounds positive, be guided by your clinic. Have they altered any of your stims? I had quite a few smaller ones after my first scan so they upped my meds and by the time I had collection there were quite a few bigger ones.

Hi, thanks for replying, no they've not really said much if I'm honest, I really thought they'd of phoned me this afternoon to tell me what's next. I'm on 450 ml of menopur I'm not sure if that can go any higher?
How are you getting on with everything?

On our 1st cycle, I remember at my 1st scan I didn’t have high numbers and they put my dose up to 450, and at egg collection we got 6. Remember the follicles will continue to grow until egg collection, sounds like this cycle is going better for you . When is your next scan?
