Hi Lastchance, I'm in a similar boat - my AMH is 1.2. Just done my 3rd cycle. In total, my 3 cycles produced 3 eggs, 1 fertilised, which was disappointing. So it is possible, if you dont have other major issues going on - such as immune issues. We were using frozen sperm, due to DH husband's cancer ...

choosing characteristics for donor eggs
This may be an odd question, but has anyone ever chosen eggs from a donor who doesnt look like them at all? Is this even allowed? Essentially we've done 3 cycles, only getting 1 fertilised egg from that, which didnt take. My AMH is really low - my last cycle was at the Lister with a specialised prot...

Hi There, Afraid so. I gained 8lbs in one week on long protocol, but that down-regging really did shut me down completly. The short protocol cycle I also put on weight, thought it would go after treatment but being honest, I was so hormonal and upset I probably counteracted any weight loss in being ...

Such a difficult decision. If you keep them all, have to pay full amount and get a BFN then thats really hard - and may take you a lot longer to save for another go. Did you do a long protocol? If so you may respond better to a short one next time and as it would be a free go, you may get some frost...

Hi everyone, Just an update. In the end I didnt ask about DHEA at the Care Sheffield review. Other questions from our own research were slightly dismissed and both DH and I didnt have the courage to raise this one, We did ask about it at Lister today and the response I got was they are interested in...

Although it is your sister's big day, this is your big time also so you have to do what you will be happy with. Is there any way to minimise the day's impact? Is there another bridesmaid who could take on some extra duties for the day? A treatment cycle has huge costs - financially and more importan...

Hi there, I saw the article too. DHEA isn't a vitamin though, typical newspapers! I think it is a synthetic hormone - not sure whether it is testosterone and estrogen itself or whether it is a nother hormone that encourages your body to produce them - with way, this is the end result. I have done so...
