C4/M2 blood test. OH is positive

Hey all,

I've been away from the forum for a while since I had my miscarriage in November. So we are now going for round 3 of ICSI/ivf. OH had his C4/M2 results back and it's showing positive. My blood test was negative. I'm kind of relieved in a way as we now have a possible answer to all my miscarriages.

I know I'll have to start clexane after egg transfer as part of my treatment, but has anyone had this prescribed by GP? I'm getting confused as initially my consultant said that if either of us were positive we would be able to get it on the nhs, (as im undergoing ivf via nhs) but now after speaking to a clinic nurse she's saying that it's not available on the nhs. At £7 an injection that needs to be taken daily throughout pregnancy is a bit of a push for us and was hoping it would be available for me under the nhs.

If the consultant writes to your go requesting it be prescribed then they may well do it.

Some of my bloods have been done at my go when the consultant has asked for this.
