Communication with donor

We received a donor egg when the Park Lorne site was called CRM London and now are parents of a beautiful 9 year old boy. The donor was kind enough to send a card to us congratulating us at his birth. I would like to continue the communication but I am not sure what we are allowed to send. I know we can't give specific details but is it OK to share information about how our son is doing? How would I do this? I could not find any information on the Care Fertility website aimed at parents of donor conceived children
