We pay yearly for the embryo storage fee so fortunately have until next November when we have to make final decisions and do all the paperwork, I am sure it will be an emotional time so I am glad we have some time until then.

All is well here, the wee guy is kicking loads and actually (apart from the increased tiredness this time from running after a toddler) I think I feel better this time than last time so fingers crossed it continues to go smoothly. I actually will find it much easier for boys names as we have two we really liked last time which I still love, whereas we settled on only one girls name quite quickly and used that - I don’t really have another I like as much, so I think I’d find it harder to choose another of them.

I also am not really on the boards any more but will make sure I update with news when the time comes, hopefully all being well around May time.
Hope the newborn weeks are going well xx
Just a quick message to say I’ve been thinking about you with your new arrival coming soon! Hope you’re surviving the final weeks and not struggling too much ❤️ not long now x

Re: Trying again 2023

Hi Givingitatry, finally got back on just to give an update - our little man arrived earlier this month and is doing brilliantly! Bit of a stressful birth with ambulance and emergency c-section and was a very fast labour overall, but we only stayed in one night before all being signed off and good to get home to our own beds. Have been settling in well as a 4 since then and all over the moon ❤️
Hope all is well with you and you’ve been settling in well to family life xx

I’m so glad to see this message! Sorry it was very eventful but am over the moon your family has successfully been extended ❤️ our ivf journey is over and it takes a huge weight off life. Our babies are doing so well - 2 years old and almost 5 months. I pinch myself that we got here and hope you have the most amazing family life with your miracles! Thanks so much again for all your support with my journey, it meant so much to have a kind ear to help when the chips were down and to celebrate when good things happened. Enjoy the newborn cuddles as before you know it they’re rolling and sitting and all sorts!! Every stage is lovely but those newborn snuggles are just the best xx
