We welcomed our baby boy Henry Jack to the world on 18/11/2023. Birth was very traumatic, 24 hours ending in emergency forceps delivery due to his head facing the wrong way and cord being around his neck. He was born 6lb 6oz and is absolutely wonderful! Recovery the first week was brutal as I had to keep a catheter in at home due to some bladder issues from the birth, but that’s out now thankfully and I’m starting to feel much more human. We are so in love with Henry, he is currently cluster feeding so managing about 1 hr stints of sleep, although his preference is to be asleep on me lol.

. He has terrible wind/ reflux so we are still up all through the night as he hates being on his back. I think I’m now used to being a walking zombie and am very lucky that my mum has temporarily moved in to support me. 
! I've got a sticky positive. Yesterday I was 6w3d went for a scan and there was a nice looking baby with a strong heart beat, everything looks great, unfortunately measuring 6w0d I don't know if it's significant and need to worry. I didn't ask at the time. I've got Care scan next week on Tuesday and we will find out how the baby is doing.
