I’m ok thanks MSS, still don’t have many symptoms, looking forward to scan on Thursday to know everything is moving in right direction.

So sorry to hear about your negative result, I know how heartbreaking this can be.
So the doctors rushed me through for a blood test and I have just found out my thyroid levels have sky rocketed, that will explain all the napping. Just waiting to hear back from the doctor and care tomorrow to up my medicine and am hoping it’s not caused any problems.

Hi Kelly I'm good. Need to start my application with access fertility to get my treatment plan sorted.

JW23 i don’t know how it works where you are. With my thyroid issue i was told by my consultant before i started my treatment that if i ever pregnant i would be under there doctors who will keep eye on my thyroid. This would be through antenatal department. Not sure how this would work for anyone else. Just thought I would mention it.

Kelly and JW23 hope you are both doing really good and your little bubbas are doing great. Lucy and MSS not sure what dates u are starting next cycle, but fingers crossed we get the next one huh

Will they let you transfer august Kay or do you have to have withdrawal bleed and then period do you know?

Hey Kelly, no I have to do a full cycle , don’t have any Frosties. I have to have the withdrawal and then a normal one I believe. My appointment is at the end of Aug so consultant will confirm all then. I think it will be looking at maybe starting in October so il try and use the next two months to support my body..and mind

MSS - is access fertility a new clinic or a payment plan you can use with Care?

Kay - good idea to focus on mental & physical health!

We are due to do a FET at end of Aug but I have now booked an app with our consultant around the same time (couldn’t get any earlier) to discuss maybe not using our final frostie and instead doing another retrieval round. Because we are on care pay (2 cycle package - we have done both retrievals now) it would be ‘free’ to transfer the frostie but it only scored 3/10 on care maps which I think gives it about an 8% success rate so we are wondering about doing a new round and getting them PGT-A tested.
On our first two retrievals we did half IVF and half ICSI and the ICSI didn’t work for us at all so I feel if we do a full round of IVF we might get a few more embryos.
Does that sound like a crazy hormonal thing to do?!
Not sure if we could do another payment plan as think most of them only access people who’ve not done fertility treatment before. Need to investigate!

Hi Kay looking to start my fresh cycle in September all being well. Don't blame you for having a break it can get alot.

Lucky access fertility is payment plan will get 2 egg collections and transfers within the price plan and I can pay monthly for a year. Make sense about egg collection as the embryo you have you can freeze and use later if needed. Speak to your consultant and see what he they say.

Hi MSS, totally agree. I couldn’t think of doing a cycle again this month. It’s so intense, so at least by then il be a bit more ready for it.

Kay, getting mentally prepared and enjoying summer sounds like a good plan!

I had my scan and everything is looking good, was also able to see heartbeat. I’m 5wks6days but measuring a day ahead x

Thanks MSS, you don’t get to hear it just see it flicker. Apparently it’s dangerous to listen to heartbeat before 10 weeks she told me if I go to a private scan and they offer it say no. Because they have to press on fetus to hear it apparently

Yes I’m having another scan at 8 weeks with care otherwise I’d have to wait until 12 weeks with nhs. But she said to get myself a midwife at this point
