Hi, how is the tww going for you? I am slowly driving myself mad googling all sorts of things. I’m not good at waiting x

Totally the same. I’ve googled things and watched videos to try find any positive sign. It’s all so conflicting whether it’s normal period pains, effects of medication or pregnancy that I’m starting to accept the only real way to know is a pregnancy test. My test date is 13days after transfer. I feel like my period is coming though with cramps as I am actually due on today.

This transfer is our last go as we got 2 embryos after egg retrieval and fertilisation. Fresh transfer was unsuccessful.

How has the process been for you. Hope you’re doing ok in the wait.

Are you hoping to last out until test date? Mine is 16 days after which is just way too long to wait for me!
We were very lucky that our fresh cycle in 2020 worked but then I had 3 miscarriages from frozen transfers over 22/23. This is our first cycle since 23. All was ok until actual transfer day and then transfer was quite tricky which has made things very difficult. I am trying to be positive.

I did test early and got negative results don’t really know why I tested. So I’m now just waiting till test day. It really feels like my period is coming though so I’m worried especially after our unsuccessful attempt. I did start my period before test day but I was not on progesterone.

We weren’t offered any testing of the embryos so that now worries me. I’m 39 so worried about my age and the health of the eggs/embryos.

How are you today? How early did you test? Good idea to wait for test day if you can.

I am an early tester. I have tested and it is positive. Not getting too excited as I have had a chemical pregnancy and too miscarriages in the first trimester before. I’m pleased to get to this point though as I was sure it hadn’t gone well on the day.

It is tricky with the progesterone isn’t it. We didn’t realise we had lost the baby on our first FET until our 12 week scan because there were no obvious signs. The 3rd time I realised though as I recognised things I from the first time.

Wow congratulations on the positive test. I hope all goes well for you on this journey.

I tested on my day 4 and day 6 both negative.

I am literally having no symptoms and I’m on day 9 now so not feeling confident this has worked. Our embryo was graded 3 on CareMaps too so that makes me think it’s not worked. Our fresh transfer was a grade 10 and that didn’t work.

I’m worried I can’t actually get pregnant as don’t think any have implanted. I don’t know what we will do if this has failed as it has cost so much money to get just two embryos and two transfers.

Did you feel any symptoms. What day have you tested?

Day 4 and 6 are early still though aren’t they. Keeping everything crossed for you. I haven’t really had any symptoms just been more tired than usual even though I’m hardly doing much. I usually work after transfers but this time I am trying to give everything to this as it’s our 4th go.

It must be hard to stay positive but I have read lots of stories about peoples worst grades embryos being the ones that stuck. It is just so expensive isn’t it. The costs have gone up so much since we started in 2020 and they were so much then.

Well today is D10 so did another test and it’s negative. Lots of crying today and looking at what other options could be. We need a donor as well if we go again as this IVF cycle was with the last sperm from our donor. So that’s an added pressure/heartbreak.

I am now just not going to test till Sunday but I’m obs pretty sure it will be negative. I even rang the clinic and said I’m sure it’s failed and they said to continue with medication until Monday until I can speak to them.

Oh I’m so sorry to read this. It is such a hard journey and so unfair isn’t it!
It’s tricky with the clinic isn’t it. You just want to get on with booking appointments etc. I had a chemical pregnancy one time and my tests were getting lighter and gone by day 10 and they wouldn’t book me in for my next appointment until official test date and the wait was annoying.
I’m struggling with my anxiety a lot but have a day out with my friends today that will help distract me x

Well just to complete this thread. Today is my test day and it’s negative. That was our last embryo. Our last chance. This journey has been rubbish constantly seeing negative tests. We only got two embryos and both have failed. We have a consultation end of March but what can they really say.

I hope your journey continues and brings you all that you want. We need positive stories to come from this process.

I’m so sorry. It’s so hard. Wish it was a better outcome for you. I had to do more testing elsewhere in the end as I tried adding medications, taking antibiotics etc and still had miscarriages. Thank you for your well wishes. I hope you can get some help in your follow up appointment x
