Oh I had 3 sent for testing but only 2 come back ok. I don’t know any details on them though until our appointment on 10th I think. Apparently ok ones can be 80-100% ok so I’m not sure if you get the percentage or how it works. What information did you get?
It’s a shame about your thyroid result. What is it and what should it be? Is it a lot different? When are you speaking with your consultant? I’m guessing you want everything to be pretty much perfect if you’ve got the 1 from this cycle left. When abouts in June do you think you’d be having the transfer if you go ahead?
I have spoke with my partner, he just says it’s my body so up to me and he will support me but I’ve also said I’d like to know his actual opinion. I think we are of the same opinion that we will try these 2 embryos but won’t do another collection even though we have paid for it, things might change but by the time we have used both embryos I will be 40-41 depending if they take and miscarry etc and our thinking is the older we get the less chances we have and it takes it out of me as it makes me gain weight each time and it’s not the nicest experience is it. Out of our 6 embryos with my eggs aged 38 we got 3 genetically ok embryos so at 40-41 we might get 1-2 and still might not work.
We saw the recurrent miscarriage clinic last week and they are sending me for repeat bloods and also a 3D scan of my uterus to see if position or shape affects miscarriage. It’s a study where they want people with recurrent miscarriages and also a control group of healthy pregnancy’s to compare uterus’s. Not sure what the study will tell because I’ve had 2 healthy babies anyway but equally if they find anything from my c section scar or the evac surgery in Dec then it can be looked at.
We should find out more information in a couple of weeks with the pgta and about aug-sept for scan/blood tests. I don’t know how long I want to actually wait though but surely they should find something on the scan in 2 weeks if it’s concerning but I have to wait 8-12 weeks for the consultant appointment.
How are you feeling with doing your FET? Wanting to get it done or nervous etc?

Re: April/May 2025
Hi consultant gave me piece of paper with the results to take with me cannot remember what information it had on there. I recall stating what we can use and what we cant. My thyroid came back as 0.03 and it should be 1 plus. I sent a message last week on salve waiting for him to confirm as i wanted to start in June period. I just want to do transfer and then i can see what the next stage is. Most likely will have to close this chapter. Wont b easy. Like U i feel i have gained weigh more on my tommy.
Glad they are doing some test lets see what they come back with. Will U wait until you have these result's before you start your next FET?

Hi MSS
How are you? Have you had any answers on if you can do your FET for your June cycle?
I had my 3D scan and the dr said everything looked fine, uterine cavity, blood flow, lining etc. my lupus blood test came back ok, just waiting for my other blood tests and then the consultant needs to review it all. I’ve got an appointment next month with fetal medicine, counselling through care because maternal mental health still haven’t seen me yet but I did get a call today to say I’m 3rd on the list so maybe September but they can’t promise. I’ve also booked a smear test as that routine appointment is due so at least that will be done.
I’ve said I want to wait for a month or so to try and loose weight and I took meds to delay my period this month so I want them out my system too. Hopefully I’ll have had my appointments by then. I’m thinking late August/September I think x

Hi nevergiveup how are you? I decided to put a paise on FET. Looking at august or September. Most likely this will be my last transfer. I just wanted to give myself bit more time hoping my TSH will go back to normal range.
How you coping with things?

Hi MSS
Sorry it’s been a while, I had been struggling a bit so thought taking a break from everything ivf chat was good. I did a couple of counselling sessions with care but I didn’t find them helpful really. I have my first maternal mental health nhs counselling session next week (only 8 months after having my miscarriage).
I’ve had all my tests, everything came back ok, can’t find any issues with anything. I have a plan in place for nhs support if my next transfer works and fetal medicine have said they will scan more for my peace of mind.
I’m thinking of doing my transfer next month with my next cycle.
How are you? Have you decided when you are doing a transfer or have you done it?

Hi MSS
Not sure if you are still using the forum but thought I’d let you know that today is day 1 and I’m starting my medication for my FET. I’m so nervous/worried given my previous experiences.
Have you decided if you are doing another cycle and when?
