Help don't no what to do next

Hi everybody we are new to this board. We have just had our 1st go at ICSI we have had some bad luck really. My husband has been married before and had a vasectomy in 2003 he has 3 healthy children. After the marrage failed he met me we got married this year and decided we want a family of our own. We had the vasectomy reversed which was awful he was in theatre 6 hours very trick operation the doctor said. However they saw the liquid go down the tubes so the doctors were happy. He did a sample o sperm on 3 occasions the doctor was suprised kept sending us away saying need to give it longer. He gave us 90% chance and after 6 months of me going mental doctor decided it failed as his tubes were blocked. So that was 3 grand, then they said go for ICSI so we did my husband had sperm asperation got 4 straws of sperm had 13 follicles 6 eggs 4 fertilised 3 matured. On ET only 2 made it the 3rd was breaking up. We had 2 grade 2 cell 9 and cell 10 put in. I took 2 weeks of work as i am a nurse and thought rest however day 11 started to spot but it was a small amount and stopped. Had blood test negative how???? Im so shocked this was only yest. I am 24 healthy fertile they gave us good odds again nobody can believe it. We paid for ICSI so all together 7 grand so far we cannot afford ICSI again really. My husband has mentioned IUI donor sperm? He has mentioned vasectomy reversal again which i don't think will work. Anybody had IUI with donor??? any ideas would help love Ash xxx

Sorry to hear what you've been through, it all sounds really distressing. Have you got your review booked, I'm sure the consultant will be able to advise you what your options are?

I'm sorry I have no experience to share with you. I have unexplained infertility, and after 3 failed attempts at IVF we turned to adoption.

You may be better to put this post on some of the other threads too- General, Donor and Bumps, Babies and Beyond. Most of us on here have adopted or are going through the process.

Good luck.

Yes, we adopted our first son 2 and a half years ago, he's now 5 and our second son was placed 8 days ago- he's 8 months old!! It's all very exciting!
