1-- can single women have a surrogate?
2---how expensive is it?
3-- and do you have to go through courts ect to legalise everything?

Yes, a single woman can have a surrogate, but it's difficult as it's more legally complicated and challenging (and more expensive as a surrogacy lawyer will be required to help with the legal works involved in the application of Parental Order) -

Using a surrogate is around £10k-£14k to cover reasonable expenses (the variation mainly depends on what losses especially in terms of wages that the surrogate will suffer as the result of pregnancy). This cost excludes IVF treatment costs.
If the IP's are a married couple, then the legal paper for the Parental Order is fairly straight forward without the need for a surrogacy lawyer. But to become legal parents with full parental responsibility, all surrogacy cases have to go through the courts to legalise everything.

i have a review on the 7th febuary, i am starting to have a think about other options.
iam even thinking about fostering, although i know its really hard in this country
