Hey Liz

Ive got my FET on Thursday! We started back in September but had a big gap due to Christmas and OHSS. We had 4 embryos but only one came back from PGS testing as normal so feeling very anxious as we only have one chance. How are you feeing about it all? it a bloody Rollacoaster isn't it!

Hey lovely,

Oh wow.. best of luck for today. Really hope it goes well for you. Are you having one transferred? Hope you’ve got lots of things to take your mind off the TWW ❤️

I had a lining scan this morning and all went well, waiting for ‘the call’ now with more info as usual! Always on the edge of my seat even though it’s only their usual call 😂

Hi MAB,

It’s the 21st of Feb for us, although we aren’t telling any close friends or family. I only told my boss as I’ll need a few days off to chill afterwards so hopefully it’ll go on my rota as paid time off or something.

How are you feeling today? When is test day? Glad your transfer went well, I normally find they are quite easy and the thought of being PUPO is so nice!

Sending you good vibes and baby dust 🎉

Re: Feb/March cycles

Hello,

Thanks for starting this thread! All being well, I’m due to have a fresh double transfer on Thursday so thought I’d join you 🍀🍀

How is everyone feeling? I’m still a little sore from collection on Saturday, a few twinges, but hoping it passes before Thurs.

Does anyone else have a slightly upset tummy with all the meds? Really wish it would settle down! I know it shouldn’t impact anything, but just makes you feel off!

Hi LilacRose lovely to hear from you I had quite a big gap before my transfer, only had a little nausea from the oestrogen but that didn't last long, I hope it settles down. Good luck for Thursday let us know how it goes, cant believe how quick you are in and out!

Lizmilkil I test on 23rd Feb feel pretty normal so far apart from bloating (maybe a bit tired but might be in my head) sending positive vibes to all x

Hi MAB

Thanks for the message :) Ah ok, I just read back and saw you had OHSS - it must have been frustrating to have to wait but yay, you're there now! And now for the next agonising wait! Are you planning to wait til test day to test? I don't know what I'll do this time (it's my fourth transfer) and I've done it all different ways - tested early, waited... don't know what's best really! I guess it basically sucks any way you do it when it's a BFN!

I had cetrotide this time round and I don't think it suited me  just trying to eat quite plainly til Thurs but bit worried as I feel like I should be eating really healthily, but I just feel off! x

Not sure when to test think I will try and wait until Wednesday. I also need to stop eating cake as a distraction! I normally exercise loads which is my go to for stressful times but I'm trying to take it a bit easier. Good Luck for Thursday x

Haha, makes everything better! Ahh, that’s tricky re exercise - I’ve heard doing a little bit can be good for blood flow - I’m always a bit cautious too though! X

Welcome, guys!

So nice to hear your journeys, I start my progesterone pessaries and injections tomorrow night and remember how emotional they make me so not looking forward to it but I know it’s just part of the rollercoaster.

So glad you’re al doing well, Lilac the egg retrievals never seem to get easier do they? Hope you’re feeling okay today.

Lots of baby dust to you all ✨✨

Thanks Liz! Good luck with the prog injections and pessaries. Argh, the side effects are all so rubbish aren’t they?! Hopefully it’ll all be worth it!

Still feeling a little off today - have a slight twingey pain on one side, just on and off, and feel slightly nauseous! Hoping I haven’t got mild ohss - though I only got a few eggs, so don’t even know if that’d be possible! X

The 2ww is so hard - just saw from one of your earlier messages that you’re half way through - it’s the hardest time I think as you’re v much in the ‘what if’ stage, second guessing every twinge! Are you planning to test early or hold out? Sending love, hang in there! X

Re: Feb/March cycles

Hi Everyone,

I hope it's OK for me to join you all. I'm trying a long protocol this time round, so am currently going through what feels like a weird combo of AF + Buserelin injections. I was hoping AF would still be Day 1 of new cycle and I could move closer to FET date, but it seems a down reg scan is next step instead. It always amazes me how there are new surprises and more to learn with each and every IVF cycle!

@MAB hope you are doing OK on 2WW, it is such a hard time.

@YTIREV it seems like we are cycling at similar times.

Hey All

So we are cracking on with the Busetelin ready for our FET. Will start taking estradiol on Sunday and lining scan on the 3rd March.

Anyone else on a similar timeline?

Wishing us all good luck. :D

Re: Feb/March cycles

Hi all,

Thought I would come join you in here as have found these forums super supportive when I start overthinking as I'm probably going to over the next 3 weeks! I recognise a couple of you from previous cycles so sorry you are still like me on this long journey!

I thought would end up cycling at the same time as you lemontop but didn't do buserelin so started estradiol on CD1 which came a few days early and just had my day 11 lining scan today which was all good - thank you pomegranate juice!

I'm doing a frozen donor round so just found out the eggs will be defrosted on friday after my OH goes in to give his sample and we hopefully will have an embryo to transfer on Wednesday. Its happened much sooner than I was expecting now!

How have you found the 2ww so far kh123 and MAB Needed your OH to hide the pregnancy tests yet?! I find day 6-9 the toughest but it's not far away for you now so hang in there.

Good luck with the pessaries and injections tonight Liz and the transfer tomorrow lilac.

Hopeful.ly that sounds an interesting long round - but can imagine you just want to properly get some fixed dates now. So many different protocols and every time I think I know what to expect there something different!

Good luck to us all!

Hiya!

No testing done yet I’m 8dp5dt today! Feeling okay cramping on and off nothing too much, headache most of today!

I’ve never had a bpf but had failed fets so I’m not really paying attention to how I’m feeling as I know it’s prob the meds

It's so sneaky and annoying how all the meds make the same feelings. I often get cramps during a normal cycle which fools me all the time 🤦🏻‍♀️ it's so hard to ignore any feelings but definitely keep with the positive thoughts🤞

Re: Feb/March cycles

Hi everyone!

So nice to see so many people pop up and that we can all be here just to check in and empathise

@hopeful.ly - I totally know what you mean about learning something new every cycle - it seems no two cycles are ever the same!
@kh123 - hope the 2ww not driving you too mad! Well done on holding out with the testing
@lemontop - good luck with the buserelin
@purple286 - funny how the timings suddenly creep up on you - you wait so long to get going and then it all seems to move so fast (sometimes!). Thanks so much for the good luck x

As for me, today's transfer day - eek! As far as I know, we're hopefully doing a double transfer for the first time, but I guess we'll see how the embryos have done when we get to the clinic (we had 3 after collection on Sat). This is my fourth transfer, trying to stay positive, but sometimes feels like it will never work. Hey ho, all we can do is hope (and eat lots of pineapple  ) x

Best of luck today lilacrose. Wishing you all the best.

9dp5dt today not tested but starting get nervous.

No noticeable symptoms cramping on and off, a headache yday! No sore boobs. But trying be positive so many people no symptoms and I’ve had “symptoms” before that equalled nothing!!

@lilacrose Good luck for today thinking of you.
@Kh123 I'm in the 2WW wait with you 7dp 5dt, feeling a bit heachey too and had a few cramps but trying not to read too much into it. I think I will test on Sunday (they said Wednesday) but judging by other comments most people get a reading by then?? Just got out for a run since transfer and really cleared my head.
