Hi MABMAB wrote: ↑Mon Feb 14, 2022 6:01 pm Hi LilacRose lovely to hear from you I had quite a big gap before my transfer, only had a little nausea from the oestrogen but that didn't last long, I hope it settles down. Good luck for Thursday let us know how it goes, cant believe how quick you are in and out!
Lizmilkil I test on 23rd Feb feel pretty normal so far apart from bloating (maybe a bit tired but might be in my head)sending positive vibes to all x
No problem! Welcome YTIREV
Thanks Liz! Good luck with the prog injections and pessaries. Argh, the side effects are all so rubbish aren’t they?! Hopefully it’ll all be worth it!Lizmilkil wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 7:06 pm Welcome, guys!
So nice to hear your journeys, I start my progesterone pessaries and injections tomorrow night and remember how emotional they make me so not looking forward to it but I know it’s just part of the rollercoaster.
So glad you’re al doing well, Lilac the egg retrievals never seem to get easier do they? Hope you’re feeling okay today.
Lots of baby dust to you all![]()
The 2ww is so hard - just saw from one of your earlier messages that you’re half way through - it’s the hardest time I think as you’re v much in the ‘what if’ stage, second guessing every twinge! Are you planning to test early or hold out? Sending love, hang in there! X
Hiya!Purple286 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 7:07 pm Hi all,
Thought I would come join you in here as have found these forums super supportive when I start overthinking as I'm probably going to over the next 3 weeks! I recognise a couple of you from previous cycles so sorry you are still like me on this long journey!
I thought would end up cycling at the same time as you lemontop but didn't do buserelin so started estradiol on CD1 which came a few days early and just had my day 11 lining scan today which was all good - thank you pomegranate juice!
I'm doing a frozen donor round so just found out the eggs will be defrosted on friday after my OH goes in to give his sample and we hopefully will have an embryo to transfer on Wednesday. Its happened much sooner than I was expecting now!
How have you found the 2ww so far kh123 and MAB Needed your OH to hide the pregnancy tests yet?! I find day 6-9 the toughest but it's not far away for you now so hang in there.
Good luck with the pessaries and injections tonight Liz and the transfer tomorrow lilac.
Hopeful.ly that sounds an interesting long round - but can imagine you just want to properly get some fixed dates now. So many different protocols and every time I think I know what to expect there something different!
Good luck to us all!
It's so sneaky and annoying how all the meds make the same feelings. I often get cramps during a normal cycle which fools me all the time
Best of luck today lilacrose. Wishing you all the best.LilacRose wrote: ↑Thu Feb 17, 2022 7:41 am Hi everyone!
So nice to see so many people pop up and that we can all be here just to check in and empathise
@hopeful.ly - I totally know what you mean about learning something new every cycle - it seems no two cycles are ever the same!
@kh123 - hope the 2ww not driving you too mad! Well done on holding out with the testing
@lemontop - good luck with the buserelin
@purple286 - funny how the timings suddenly creep up on you - you wait so long to get going and then it all seems to move so fast (sometimes!). Thanks so much for the good luck x
As for me, today's transfer day - eek! As far as I know, we're hopefully doing a double transfer for the first time, but I guess we'll see how the embryos have done when we get to the clinic (we had 3 after collection on Sat). This is my fourth transfer, trying to stay positive, but sometimes feels like it will never work. Hey ho, all we can do is hope (and eat lots of pineapple) x
