Hi Purple, yay we have the same transfer date

. What clinic are you with? I am with Nottingham. My protocol says that testing is 16 days after transfer which I thought was quite long. I don’t know if I will be ale to hold out that long. Does your protocol say something similar? It’s nice to have cycle buddies. I am currently on 6 x 2mg estrodial tablets, 6 pessaries, 10 mg prednisolone and 1 lubion injection. I have to increase my pred to 20 mg and start Inhixa injections on transfer date along with all the other meds. I have also had an intralipid infusion. My protocol is slightly different to yours. You can let me know how the Inhixa injections are as I am not looking forward to them.
That’s great news that 4 of the eggs fertilised, praying they all make it to blasts and you have some available to freeze. How many are you planning on transferring?
Have a good day xx
Hey,
I'm at Care Northampton so not too far away from you. My OTD is usually say 13 or 14 so that's not too bad - weird yours is day 16? I normally hold out but think I'd be tempted to do early if OTD was day 16!
I forgot how rubbish the pessaries are and doing 2 three times a day is annoying. Will let you know how the Inhixa go tomorrow. What was the intralipid like and do you have to have again? I'm having a blood test to check my progesterone levels on Tuesday as I have a short cycle and tend to bleed before the end of the 2ww so have a feeling even with pessaries I'm not getting enough but hope I'm wrong and don't need the lubion as well. Honestly all the drugs we need and multi vit it's hard to what out what to do when!
Depending on the quality we might transfer 2. The clinic prefer not as even though I'm almost 40 the eggs will be younger so hopefully higher chance of success

How about you? How many embryos have you got frozen? Xx
Hey, 16 days just seems a little long, over 2 weeks to test will be difficult for me. I usually hold out testing as well but in my last fresh cycle in sept, I bled at 9dp5dt so I tested early and knew the result. You can keep me going this cycle
I know keeping up with all the meds and the vitamins gets a bit too much sometimes but I have created a spreadsheet after someone else mentioned it on these threads. It’s really helping me keep up with the protocol. If you have loads as well, it may be an idea? The side effects of the pessaries have already kicked in which is annoying.
The intralipid infusion itself wasn’t too bad but I felt really nauseas and headachey after. If I get a BFP, I will need to have another at that stage and then again at 12 weeks or something. We are on slightly different immune protocols I take it as you weren’t advised to have the intralipids?
I have a short cycle too and bled early in my last fresh, so I am getting my progesterone tested on transfer date so they can adjust lubion if need be. I think it’s worth getting it tested to make sure you are getting enough progesterone but the lubion injections do sting.
I wanted to transfer two as well but as the embryos were created when I was 36, they are against a double transfer. They may let you transfer two then? I have 3 Frosties in the freezer and just hoping the first one out thaws nicely. I will have everything crossed for you that your 4 embryos make it with great chances of success and with ones to freeze for siblings
In terms of the injections, I tend to do them on my thighs. I pinch the skin and then inject onto the site and then hold for 5 seconds. But it always stings. How did you find the Inhixa injection? Did you do that as well as lubion? X
