Thank you Lilac, that's helpful and will try that tonight!LilacRose wrote: ↑Sun Feb 20, 2022 10:40 pmA couple of techniques with injections I’ve found quite good - use one of those gel ice packs wrapped in a tea towel to totally numb the area (though not nice if you don’t like being cold!). And a tip I read on here recently which was apparently passed on by a children’s nurse - rub the area in circular motion to get the blood flowing, pinch firmly, inject, then afterwards tap round the area with your finger. I found this really effective! I had a reaction to one of my drugs this time and consultant told me to inject slowly and then massage the area afterwards and also found that really helped, think it disperses the drug quicker so less stingy. I’ve had lubion before on one of my rounds and do remember it being sorePurple286 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 20, 2022 8:39 pm How exciting for transfer day tomorrow Lizmilkil! Hope you have a good night sleep and get those embies back on board. What time is your transfer?
Oh fab YTIREV! I find the nurses lovely and they've been good at getting back to is which some other clinics are not as good at. I always take a pack of biscuits they have in the waiting room to take home for my OH![]()
RPishopeful and others doing injections like lubion any suggestions to stop it hurting when you push the plunger? Did my first Lubion tonight in the belly and bloody hell did it sting.x
I definitely find working helpful as a distraction and often have a wobble or two during the 2ww. It's to be expected with all the hormones we are taking plus the high stakes so go easy on yourself and do whatever gets you through this time. I find I need a day of sad films to just wallow but then the next day get those positive pants back on and talk to people and go places that make me happy. Sending you positive thoughts and for this week to zip by xx
