November 2022

Hi Everyone,
Thought I would start this group for anyone who is planning a cycle in November. I am starting my 4th Frozen cycle when period starts next week. I have only got 2 embryos left and have already agreed with consultant they will both be transferred this cycle.
Struggling to be optimistic after having BFN the other frozen cycles but also have to cling to some hope that it may work.

Re: November 2022

Hi Russellg,

We’ve just had our consultation after our first failed round of ICSI, our consultant is hoping to time out FET with my imminent period, so we should be starting in November too.
I wish you every success with your next cycle.

Re: November 2022

Hello!

Hope you don't mind me joining. We have got a FET cycle planned for November after our first failed round of ICSI back in September. It's all a bit tight with the Christmas cut off dates but starting the meds next month, with a provisional transfer date mid December (so I think I'm still technically November cycle still but feel free to kick me out if not :D )

Re: November 2022

Welcome @comeonbabyB don't worry I am not going to kick you out 😆 it's just nice to have a few people to talk to while going through the journey.
My period is due middle of November so my cycle plan will then be drawn up but expecting provisional transfer will be the end of November.
@KDN18 welcome to the group as well wish you luck on your cycle

Re: November 2022

Hey ladies I also will be starting a natural frozen cycle in November if period comes, I just had to cancel a cycle last month due to injections not agreeing with my body as I was gettin follicles and about to ovulate!

So just waiting game now I also havein 2 put back in as I have 3 frozen. I think thou doctor said if don’t come in by end of November have to wait til after Xmas as won’t have time to do it in December with there hours bein open and shut.

Good luck to us all xx

Re: November 2022

@Luckybabe37 Fingers crossed for you. The Christmas clinic shutdowns was highlighted as a possible issue for our next cycle too, but as my period came earlier this week they have luckily just been able to slot us in before their cutoff dates. My provisional transfer is the 13th December I think and they shut the week after (although not sure if every clinic is different?)

@russellg it's definitely nice having people go through a similar thing at the same time, I felt so lonely and stressed during out last cycle - I am really trying to change my mindset for the next one but it's hard. Are you trying anything new this cycle?

@KDN18 Our situations sound quite similar I think. This will be our first FET after failed fresh ICSI. I know it's still early days but I've found it all very difficult.

Re: November 2022

Welcome luckybabe37 I hope period arrives so you can fit in before Christmas closures.
@KDN18 last cycle we introduced fragmin injections and aspirin from transfer day due to some blood clotting issues that came up on blood test so doing the same for this cycle maybe that's why I am struggling to feel optimistic because there is no change but unfortunately because the embryos are frozen there's not a lot of tests on the embryos they can do.
If this cycle does not work we have already paid a carepay plan so we can have another fresh cycle which will be early next year and if they collect enough embryos on egg collection more testing on the embryos themselves can be done.

Hi Ladies,

I hope everyone is doing well?

Hope it's OK to join but also having FET this month after our first failed attempt in September.

Is anyone else on Immune meds for their cycle at all? I'm being investigated for an autoimmune disease so hoping we can get the right meds sorted and prescribed in time with the assumption it is that! Not sure if to be positive or worry more 🤯😅

Hi everyone

I’m planning a natural FET this month, just waiting for that elusive solid smiley face on my ovulation test, I’ve been plagued with 4 days of flashing faces so far and I’m just about ready to throw the whole thing out of the window

Knowing my luck I’ll get my peak tomorrow and have to transfer the same day as my weekly night shift, again!

Re: November 2022

Hi thanks for the welcome Russellg

I have a question for everyone I have started my estrogen tablets 2 days ago which I haven't had before this is my first fet and was wondering is it normal to be getting sharp pains/cramps coming and going? Is this just where the estrogen is thickening the lining? Sorry just want to check

Sorry not much help as I haven’t had that symptom before but I often feel really dizzy when I first start oestrogen and have to basically have my eyes closed for the whole day. Possible that this is your bodies way of getting used to it? Just a thought. Hope it has eased for you.

Kim89 never really had any symptoms when I am on the estrogen but every person can react in different ways. You can always check with Care if you are concerned about anything
