Short protocol, on inhixa and aspirin and double embryo transfer-all of this is completely new for me and hopefully will result in a baby (or few) .

I am starting my FET cycle this month. Waiting for my period to start I am due next weekend.

I started my first cycle last year in September I found out I was pregnant in October but had an ectopic. This is my first time doing an embryo transfer. Feeling a mixture of emotions.

Hi All, I will be starting my fresh cycle tomorrow I think. This will be my 6th IVF cycle 1 fresh resulted in MMC then had 4 frozen cycles last year but none implanted. This time hoping to have PGT-A chromosome testing after egg collection then I will have to do a frozen cycle if they need to transfer any back.
Feeling a mix of emotions. Good luck to all of you x

I'm also transferring this month, my second frozen transfer next week after two MC with the fresh and frozen. On a whole host of meds, steroids, thinners and progesterone with anti-Histamines. Feeling a bit numb going in this time.

AA28 I think we were together in September. I'm so sorry to hear about your ectopic in October and hope you're feeling better and managed to give you some time to recover after what sounds like a truly awful time. Here's hoping for some positive outcomes for us all ❤

Hi All!

Will be joining y'all on my February cycle! I'm in a same-sex relationship and we had our son with our first transfer when my wife carried.

When trying for number 2 we haven't had much luck. My wife tried again twice, first ended in chemical and second in blighted ovum - she decided she couldn't go again and so it's my turn to try and carry!

Had my first frozen transfer back in November with my wife's embryo, unfortunately that ended in an ectopic and had my left fallopian tube removed. So it's been a long old journey! It's our last embryo and I'll be honest I'm feeling a little defeated already thinking this is technically our 'worst' embryo and we haven't had any luck with the other supposedly 'better' embryos

ANYWAY enough of that negative talk, lets do this ladies! Period should start around the 19th so a few more weeks to wait yet for me

I'm in the same boat - ectopic removed in early December. Emotions all over the place. I was hoping having a transfer would make me have something to focus on, which it has - but hasn't taken away the sadness. Hope you're okay <3

Hi Ladies, nice to hear from you. Looks like some of us have few sad stories to tell.

My first ever pregnancy was via Care and gave me strong symptoms after 6DPT. I felt broken hearted when it ended up with MMC and another one resulted in failed transfer. Embryos are top quality so I couldn't understand why this happened.

I was googling a lot and testing during my last 2WW. Nurse called me week after transfer and asked how I was doing, test showed neg so I just gave up all the way emotionally, I didn't care anymore and got bit sad. Counselling helps for those who need emotional support, it worked for me so far. Next TWW I will try to be calm and positive whatever the score.

My cycle starts approx on the 12-13, so still few days to go.

Did you have blood thinners and steroids in previous cycle or is it first time? Also... I know how you feeling... Numb... Some excitement is gone, just anxiety and frustration

Hi Lindalu.

Meds were all started on my last transfer and we managed to get further along this time so Consultant was adamant it was a chromosomal issue or potential issue with lining so taken some probiotics this time just to cover everything.
I'm sorry to hear about your MMC, it really floors you and chips away at that positivity you try so hard to maintain so totally get the frustration and anxiety.
Are you on a stimulated cycle or natural?

I will be starting from aspirin and estradiol from day 1 of cycle. I couldn't start on day 21 as in previous cycles because of national shortage of Buserelin.

Is that stimulated? What's natural cycle ?

I am not sure if I am natural or stimulated cycle I am also starting estradiol on day 1.

Wishing us both luck. Hope with the plan your on this time with the meds it works for you. Yes I remember us being together. I had to have a 3 month break as I had methotrexate for the ectopic and surgery.

Sounds like we are in a similar situation I don’t have bay children and that was my first cycle. Wishing us both luck it’s hard to stay positive some days.

We’re starting a FET this month too. Actually going with my withdrawal bleed from a FET last month.
We are a same sex couple doing shared motherhood. My partner had egg collection in July 2020 and a fresh transfer to me which was successful.
FET last month ended with a BFN so fingers crossed for this one!

Thanks Luckybabe37 & Erkah stims are going well I think first progress scan on Friday. Just hope I produce enough eggs for PGT-A testing
