Hi Ladies, sorry for the disappearing act, work has been busy and my pregnancy symptoms worsened in the third trimester. A little update from me, I have placenta previa so they are booking me in for a c section in the next couple of weeks.

Lindalu - it’s lovely to hear from you. All the best for your transfer x

Rosie82 - hope everything went well with the planned induction date if it went ahead? X

Not long for everyone now. Can’t wait to hear the updates as and when the little ones decide to make their appearance xx

Hi ladies

Hope you’re all doing well.
LindaLu, lovely to hear from you and I have everything crossed for you to have a successful transfer.

I am going in to see the consultant today and find out whether they’re going to schedule either a c section or induction as babies growth was starting to tail off on the last scan 2 weeks ago. They’ve said not to panic but if it hasn’t improved today then they’ll look to get him out asap.

Can’t believe it’s finally our month!

Re: November ‘23 babies ☺️

Sounds like we have all had an eventful last few weeks. I’m signing my consent forms tomorrow for elective c-section as baby is measuring very large and they worried about me being able to deliver them naturally with my size. So should get a date in just over 2 weeks time.
These babies like to keep us on our toes!!

It’s so nice to hear the updates ❤️. Can’t believe a few of us are having elective c sections.

LisaMarie - all the best for the tomorrow. Will be thinking of you. This time tomorrow you will be enjoying those little cuddles. I can understand the feeling of nerves. Mine has been booked for 13/11 with pre op on 09/11 and I am super nervous.

Let us know how you get on as and when you can x

Re: November ‘23 babies ☺️

Hi everyone,

I have baby news….

I ended up having a planned c-section at 37+4 as baby’s growth had really slowed and the doctors were worried how she would cope with a prolonged induction / labour.

We welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Ida Rose to the world on 26 October at 12:31pm weighing 5lbs 4oz. 🩷💕🩷

We had to stay in hospital for 4 nights for Ida to be treated for jaundice. She is doing really well now, putting on weight and it was just brilliant to bring here home! I found the c-section a really positive experience and am recovering well from the surgery.

I still can’t believe she is actually here and she is ours to keep! I’m so so grateful to our egg donor - she has changed my life in the most amazing way! 🩷

Wishing everyone the best of luck for your arrivals - it is the best feeling ever. Can’t wait to hear your news.

Lindalu - so good to hear from you. I hope you are ok and wishing you the very best of luck for your next transfer xxx

Re: November ‘23 babies ☺️

Hi everyone, sorry for the late reply it's been busy!
Baby Lexie Jessie (LJ) was born on the 7/11 at 39 weeks weighing 6lb 10.
She is a little cutie and we were surprised she was a girl (we didn't find out the gender but were both convinced boy!)
The elective c section was okay and it was quick, recovery has been a little painful but manageable with the pan relief. Breast feeding is going well and she is sleeping for 5 hour intervals in the night so I can't complain really.
Looking forward to reading all of your updates! xx

Congratulations Lisamarie!!! 🥳 That is fantastic news ☺️ So pleased everything went well. 5 hour intervals during the night sounds amazing you lucky thing - I’m struggling to get 2-3 hours 😬 All completely worth it though. Enjoy every minute xxx

Congratulations Lisamarie!!

Our bundle of joy was born on the 16th, also a surprise girl Evie Grace.
Got discharged the next day after elective c-section as they thought was going to be huge….was 7lbs 8 🙄and recovering well. Currently Evie won’t sleep at all unless she is in your arms, but very early days.

Wonderful to be updated with everyone’s news!!

Congratulations JSMS! 🥳 Wonderful news and a beautiful name ☺️
Ida went through a phase of only sleeping in my arms at night which is very tiring but it does pass!
Hope you are recovering well xxx

Hi All, I hope all the mamas and babies are doing well. Can’t believe most of us if not all of us have had c sections. I hope you are recovering well.

Congratulations to AA28, JSMS and LisaMarie on the birth of your baby girls.

I also had an elective c section on 13.11.2023 and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl weighing 7.1 lb. I was convinced I was carrying a boy so she was definitely a surprise ❤️
