Is anyone doing a cycle this month? I’m on day 7 of stims for my second egg retrieval. First egg retrieval last July, 5 embryos and no pregnancies x

Hey Gembryo

I’m not in a cycle this month as I did mine last month but just wanted to send a message to see how you are getting on, as I know it’s a tense time?

I’m currently 6 weeks + 5 days pregnant but had an early scan yesterday (due to previous MCs) and they saw the gestational sac and yolk sac but only a flicker of the fetal pole so having to go back on Monday for another scan in the hope it’s grown and there’s a heartbeat there this is the furthest I’ve got so far.

This is my second FET after a fresh transfer in November (resulting in MC at 6 weeks) and a FET in April, which also resulted in early MC so I’m hoping it third time lucky

I’ve had my egg retrieval this morning, 10 eggs from 12 follicles so I’m happy with that for stage 1! Keeping everything crossed for the next lot of updates tomorrow x

I have my feet up and lots of fluid! Little bit of discomfort but not too bad, I don’t feel as sicky as my last retrieval which is good! X

Hello,
I am due a frozen transfer on Thu 17th Aug. Currently on eastrogen tablets and cyclogest pessaries. Finding these a bit tricky since I started them on Saturday. How are you finding doing your daily chores and going to work when using these? I am going to ask my GP for a note requesting working from home for 2-3 weeks. I have struggled with side effects in general and I am in a new job and haven't told anyone at work yet.
This is my 3rd attempt. I had a frozen transfer in 2020 and a fresh one in 2022. Hoping this one will be successfull.

Good luck. I hope you are doing okay. The wait can be difficcult.
Have you taken time off work? and how are you keeping busy so you don't think about it all the time.

Thank you. I am a teacher so currently on summer holidays, which is good and bad at the same time. I’m just trying to make a plan for each day or I just Google everything. I had a tiny bit of light pink blood last night so just had a night of not sleeping as am worried now. How are you doing? X

How are you feeling this morning? When are you due to test? TWW is so tough! Is this your first transfer?

Good luck for Thursday Anna, I’m on utrogestan in the day and only Cyclogest at night so it doesn’t bother me. I do have to wear pantyliners though from all the waxy residue they leave. So glam.

I had my fresh transfer yesterday, it was my 2nd egg retrieval, 6th embryo transfer. We had 3 other embryos which we are testing this time. TWW is already dragging and it’s not even 24 hours

Hi Gembryo,
I have had a fair amount of blood today so unfortunately I think I’m out on this round. I’ve spent most of today in tears and worn myself out. My test day is this coming Friday, but I know the answer now.
This was my second transfer, unfortunately we didn’t have any to freeze on both rounds. We made the decision that it will be my last round due to the expense, so I have a lot to come to terms with at the moment.

Good luck with your two week wait, just try and plan something nice to help you through. I have everything crossed for you. X

JW I’m so sorry to hear that, I feel heartbroken for you. It is such an emotional toll, that nobody who hasn’t been through it can understand. I really hope there are some next steps or hope for you, I know it probably doesn't feel like there’s any at the moment. Sending lots of love x

Hi Gembryo, Thank you for your kind message. Adter 24 hours of pure crying, I have tested and it is positive, although I think I’m having a miscarriage due to the bleeding. I’ve been to care this morning for a blood test so time will tell, I’m trying to protect myself by not being too excited about the positive.

Oh JW that sounds so stressful! Glad you’ve been for a blood test though, when will you get your results? Really hoping everything is ok for you

I’m ok thank you, day 3 nearly done! I’m on the blood thinner injections this time and they are really bruising my stomach, so I’m a bit tender but ok! X

I will get results before 10 tomorrow, but then may need a further test on Monday to check if levels have increased or decreased. I go on holiday on Saturday too, so that’s not great timing!

Oh wow more injections, you poor thing! Day 3 is good, do you think you will hold out until test day? X

I will try and hold out, I only get myself upset going early as I then as I’ve only ever had negatives i then sit in part false hope and part heartbreak. I may go a day or 2 early though as I do think 13 days is excessive xx

Hi everyone, we are currently on our first cycle. EC today. Feeling quite anxious, and full of cold so I'm really hoping this doesn't delay things and we have to start again! Any helpful tips for today?

Good luck LJW! I only had my 2nd EC last weds so it’s fresh in my mind! Just keep hydrated after and eat what you can, I felt quite nausea after my first but ok on my second. Lots of rest for a couple of days and take it easy! Let us know how you get on xx

EC went well, thanks Gembryo. Ten eggs which is amazing considering Dr was only expecting 3-5! Feeling absolutely fine after the procedure just a little tired. Will be taking advantage of the rest for the next couple of days. Hope your EC went well.
