Today is my 7dpt and yesterday i was crying almost all day 🤦‍♀️ today with my hubby we are going to cinema when my little one is at school, thats first time when we are going together without my little one 😎
I tested agin this morning with a digital and it came back saying 1-2 weeks also did another hcg strip and it was basically as dark as the other line, so I’m v happy this morning!

I don’t blame you! Such a hard wait, atleast you can have a lovely day today and just enjoy each others company! I have everything crossed for you I really hope it works! After 7 years of trying for a baby, I never expected to see that, it will happen for you, I never thought it was going to happen and I know it’s every early days but it’s the first time I’ve ever seen a positive test!

Re: September 2023

I'm an idiot who tested early 🙈 so I took a FRER last night (4dp5dt), and got a faint-ish but clear line. Tested again this morning (5dp5dt) and it looks similar, not lighter but not darker either.

I also took a clear blue on the evening of 3dp5dt, and another one this morning. I can't tell if it looks darker or paler, it doesn't look much different to me 🤷

I've been using the cheap Windows stripes as well, and there was a very very faint line on 2dp5dt in the evening. Since then I think it's been clearer but idk.

Could it still be the trigger?? Or a combo of the trigger fading then a real positive, which would explain why the lines don't seem to be changing much.

My trigger was on 18/09/23. So it's like 12 days later. I had Gonasi 10000iu. How long did it take for other people's trigger to leave?

I'd love to think this is a BFP but I'm pretty sure it's the trigger!

Sorry for jumping in mid-thread, I lurk on these boards a lot. I think we might be almost at the exact same stage though. When was your transfer? Mine was the 18th and I am 13dp5dt today, got a BFP yesterday but I didn't test early so no idea when it would have started showing up. It's our 5th transfer though, after 3 fails and a miscarriage so am cautiously optimistic. This one was a higher grade (we did caremaps this time as well) and I am on immune protocol for high NK cells and cytokines so I am just praying this is it but already feel some of the intense anxiety creeping in. One day at a time though...

Ah huge congrats to you as well, that's wonderful news! How many days post transfer are you? It's nice to find people who are around the same stage, it's such a weird time. I keep getting excited and then stop myself, hopefully in a few more weeks it will finally start to sink in.

Yeah I need to call them tomorrow too to book a scan as well and my second intralipid. I am doing okay I think, I've been very crampy - so much so that I actually could have sworn my period was starting last week and I even had a bit of brown spotting on evening of 9dp5dt but then it completely disappeared. Feels a bit late for implantation but maybe it just took longer to come away? Clinic didn't seem concerned. Other than that I am just really tired as not sleeping well and very breathless (had this in my last pregnancy too). How are you feeling?

Ah yes we transferred on the exact same day – congrats on your positive! Symptom wise, mainly just cramping / period pain. I've had a bit of acid reflux / heartburn as well and I'm struggling to sleep (could be anxiety though). My tummy feels quite achy but I'm very bruised from injections so it's hard to tell if it's from that or not. My boobs are sore on and off, mostly in the morning but tbh I don't really notice it unless I squeeze so I think that's the progesterone for me as opposed to a pregnancy symptom.

Yeah I’ve had a little bit of heartburn too! I’ve found im waking up double early but like you said could just be anxiety, this is the first time I’ve been pregnant so I’m super nervous! We had a top grade embryo transferred and had caremaps (although I don’t think grading actually contributes that much) but I just want to get to my scan now! Do you know roughly how long we’ll have to wait for that first scan?

Hi Ladies

Big congratulations to everyone with fantastic news with a positive test!
We have had 3 scans last week and have had the stims increase as last time I ovulated before egg collection so everyone wanted to reduce the stims this time.
I had my last scan on Friday and wasn’t at the right stage so was given more stims Friday evening and Saturday lunchtime before my trigger last night.
I’m booked for egg collection tomorrow morning and another scan before to check on things.
🤞 everything goes extremely well and get lots of eggs x

Yeah we used caremaps as well which we didn't before. This was the highest grade we've ever had but, like you say, I am not sure how much it contributes. I never got to my scan with my last pregnancy but it was booked for 7+4 which is on the later side I think? I am going to ask if they will do it earlier but I am not sure. I don't think I will relax until then. I need to step away from the tests as well as I am driving myself mad.

@nevergiveup - best of luck today, let us know how it goes!

Oh my god I know what you mean with the tests!! I have become obsessed completely, everyday checking to see if the line has got darker! , I need to throw them away I think! Like you I don’t think I’m going to relax until the scan, and 7+4 does sound late, I’ve been awake for hours, just want to find the date of my scan out!

Good luck today with your egg collection!!! Fingers crossed you get a good number!!!

They are great results @nevergiveup!

Fingers crossed for you for fertile strong little eggs that make it to blast stage 🤞🤞

My own update is that I'm still getting BFPs, and the lines are getting darker, so I'm pretty sure it's not the trigger now! So feeling cautiously optimistic!!

Re: September 2023

Do any of you know what the percentage decrease results are after egg collection? I can’t remember from last time.

Today we were told only 80% of eggs collected are mature and can be fertilised and then only 70-75% of the remaining ones fertilise ok.

Does anyone know the % rates to make it to 3 day stage and then the rate to blastocyst? X

I think most tend to make it to day 3, but by day 5 I think you expect between 30-50% remaining. It is just a game of luck and numbers though, and there are likely other factors like age/sperm quality and your age.

At my recent collection, I had 9 collected. 8 were mature, and 5 fertilised. All 5 made it to day 3, then 4 made it to day 5. I ended up with 3 to freeze and one put back on. I'm same sex so used sperm donor. I'm 29. So higher than the 50% made it for me :) but day 3-5 is usually where people experience the biggest drop off!

How’s everyone feeling symptoms wise? I’ll be 5weeks Thursday and still have 2 weeks to wait for the scan, I’m so anxious because I haven’t got much symptoms, I had bad cramps yesterday, still have very sore boobs, and am bloated, this is my first pregnancy and I am just terrified of something going wrong!

Re: September 2023

This mornings update is we have 9 eggs fertilised ok.
They said the average is 70% of mature eggs so we are a bit lower with it being 60% but still a good amount.
The rate that should make it to blastocyst is 60% apparently so the aim is 5 but I’d prefer more obviously seeing as this is not our first time so need all the chances we can get.
My consultant prescribed me meds to reduce the risk of developing OHSS and I’ve been told to take paracetamol today and drink loads and check the colour of my wee so I’m trying to do what I’ve been told 😂
How is everyone else today?

Make the most of not having morning sickness 😂 I’ve been pregnant twice and both have had different symptoms and they were both the same sex so can’t even say boys/girls are different. Every pregnancy is different so don’t worry.
I know it’s difficult but just enjoy every moment, it’s easier to enjoy when you can feel them moving, kicking or hiccupping.
